| I do have a bit of a patience problem, but I think I have enough reverence for a car's paint job to keep that in check and do it right, haha. Plus with white and silver, you're not going to see swirl marks and haze nearly as easily as you can in the black cars in all the videos.
I have experience monkeying around with multifunction switches. You might remember the wire harness fiasco with the one I have now. the 1990 configuration being totally different from the earlier '87-89... for... some.. reason... I can't fathom. So changing the stalk doesn't scare me, haha. Next time I hit the boneyard, I'll keep an eye out for Tauri with all red taillights. There's always Sables too. I don't think those EVER had amber rear turn signals.

| yeah, I like swapping stuff around to make it fit or work, it's what keeps me rollin'. most of the m/funct switch resistances were the same for different model groups. let me know the stalk that you find, and i'll research the wiring for you. you should go down to the local cop-shop and see if they'll let you polish their cars, you never know when you'll need a get out of speeding ticket when the cops see how nice their cars look, they wont want to get them dirty...... | |

| Sounds good. Probably won't be doing it anytime soon though.
Haha, with my luck, I'd polish the "Police" decals right off the cars, haha.

| well; I sent back all of the LED"S that I hadn't used/tested to DDM Tuning, they seemed nice about it, although there is a 20% restocking fee. I don't feel they were worth keeping as if I wont use them on my car, I wouldn't offer them to anybody I know. I have evaluated the Diode dynamics stuff and they all seem to do as they claim. how did you get on with the Scott Drake stuff, did you get it in yet? | |

| Brad i use to do a lot of detailing and for you the dual action polisher would be the best. Most of your cars are new and none of them have bad paint. I have a direct drive polisher and yes its more powerful and I prefer it but it does take some time to get the feel for it. You ever need it let me know! Also.....ask me for help on the polishes....I can help there too. | |

| I haven't installed the Scott Drake kit yet. Lately, if I haven't been busy, I've been sick. I'm expecting a slow-down anytime now, haha. But wow, those bulbs must've been really bad for you to send them back, hahaha.
Eric, some of us are always just thinking about what to do next or what else to do on the cars, haha. If I didn't have my car hobby to think about, being a stay at home dad, I'm pretty sure I'd be insane by now, haha.
Thanks for the offer on the polishes! What kind do you like? The more I look at the paint on my car, the more I think i'll need something fairly stout for the cutting step. The areas that have factory paint are either dulled/hazed from the sun or pretty orange-peeled. Not as orange-peeled as my dad's car, but I'd really like to not have to sand mine. But when I do his, I'd like to make sure it will take the 2000-grit scratches out too.

| yeah, I sent back 42 of the little buggars' the shipping was cheap, and their return service seems ok. they do have some stuff I'd be interested in, but I've got too many things going on with the other company. I hope you have good luck with your stuff, it's all new technology at the moment, however led's have been out for some time. my fuel pump is crapping out, it loses pressure over night when it's cold, then runs like crap for 10-15 seconds when it does start and whines pretty loud, this pump is only 3 yrs' old. it starts much better when it's warmer. I cant complain, it probably got screwed when the baffle broke in the tank a couple of years ago; never happens on empty tank. you struck it lucky with the polishes and expertise. | |

| I guess I probably SHOULD make a 2015 post!
I'm kind of regretting not getting a high performance fuel pump. Now I'm stuck with what I've got, you know? At least for you, you can get a better one now if you want. Once I get my new injectors installed if I still get bleed-down like I do now, maybe I'll replace mine anyway.
I have a good feeling about the Scott Drakes, and the others, I didn't get that many of them, so we'll see, haha.
