Anyone else but me have a soft spot for lost dogs, stray cats, or someone else's car project? I have lots of work to do on the house and Zeph, but it takes but one call to help with a buddy's car and everything's tossed aside. Drives my wife nuts but that's what she gets for marrying someone with a short attention span. Thought you guys might like to see a few pics of a friend's Legend car. Was ramped up to do some F/Z work in May but he needed a hand and space to do the body. I think my brain says "this looks more interesting" and whatever I'm working on gets shunted aside. Good fun helping him repair & prep the glass body & fenders. Even set up a rough curtained spray booth (you can see the boxtop under cover in the background). Rattle canned it all with a black textured 'hammered metal' look. Guy's son is talented and was invited to test overseas in the BMW open-wheel series. Oval seat time in a Legend took about $12K (used car & rebuilt engine) vs. the $150K needed for BMW. Excuse the off-topic story - only slightly F/Z related.
