I know you are just starting to create this. But will there be separate sections for pictures, and technical info?
Looks terrific so far! You sure are working hard for us! Thanks.

Jeff, This has some great potential. I did notice it is hard to read some of the posts with the black back ground and text colors. Can you change the text colors a bit. But hey, take your time and I know you will get it all working. Think this change will be good for this group of great people and cars. Later

I made it over.
I like the new site. One thing that is good about it is hopefully we won't get all the spam ads like on MSN.
This definately is better for alot of reasons, biggest one is that it is going to be easier to search.
Thanks for all your effort through the years. Even though I don't currently own a F/Z I visit my last one weekly and always looking for a new one to build.
Currently I am working on a 80K orginal miled 65 Fairlane that is rust free. Going to restore it and sell it to fund other projects, hopefully one being a F/Z.
Thanks again Grevels

Welcome everyone. I haven't been back to the old site in a while, and I saw the notice. I too was getting pretty tired of the MSN hosted site. Lots of spam and garbage so I took myself off of the email notification. This is more like a real forum. Nicely done Jeff! We can even post pics in a post like other forums! For those who don't know my story, here it is. My son picked up an 82 four door Futura from his grandfather with 22K original miles. It still had the Firestone 500 tires on it when he got it! Unfortunately, he soon tired of the original 4 cyl. engine, and knowing my gearhead backround, asked what I could do. I stumbled on the original site when I was exploring the possibility of dropping a 302 in to the car. I knew it was a Fox body, so I figured that it was a fairly simple swap. I had no idea that so many others were enthusiasts. The end result was that I purchased a used 92 Tbird with a 5.0 HO motor. We rebuilt the engine, and a year or so later it was in the car. It now has Ford Motorsport springs and gas shocks all around. I also put some 10 hole rims on it. All in all, a pretty successful project.[img][/img]

Still my son's car, but he's away at school so it sits in the driveway most days. I start and drive it every couple of weeks.

Hey howdy, finally got around to getting back in here. I was bassomaticca on the other board, and looking forward to seeing this new board get off the ground. I have two '78 wagons, both with I6's, one of which was just rebuilt. One is now a parts car, and the other a rust-free ebay find I imported from way out in the boonies of North Dakota. I just had the engine rebuilt and am waiting for the paint to dry and the weather to warm up a bit before installing. It's freakin' cold up here right now and I don't have a garage! I also have a Mexican 302 I got off another Fairmont buddy. He bought his in wagon in Mexico while living there and gave me the engine after he swapped a straight six into it! Score! I had plans to rebuild it for the Fairmont, but it may end up in a boat. I was thinking that at least that way I could run WOT a lot more often!
