its a small combo, but good enough to be the fastest N/A SBF fairmont in the usa. just twisted wedge heads, an X cam and a weiand stealth intake. everything has been ported and polished and the motor has been blueprinted and balanced. the tranny is a GFORCE racing T5 tranny. a c4 would make it faster but i love driving it on the street and getting over 20mpg on the highway. Rearend only has 3.73 gears, but it does have a FR 31spline diff and axles. it works good for me, but id like to get a real H/C/I combo and pick up another 100RWHP or so, prolly more. then again i could do some nitrous and maybe run a high nine, low ten, and get banned from the track for not having a cage lol.

| That motor looks awesome! How did you finish the valve covers?
Also, how do you like the GForce tranny? I"ve read so many conflicting things about their gearset.

| Oh yeah, forgot to ask in my previous reply, what is the chrome box-like structure on the drivers side in the photo?

| the box are my nitrous solinoids lol. JK! people always say that. its a mustang 5.0 wiring/fusecover with some chrome we had and put over it to look all shiny and expensive lol.
the gforce tranny is probally the 2nd favorite part on the car and the gearset is why i feel that way, it has an awesome overdrive in 5th that helps my fuel chugging engine get better than 20mpg on the highway. and its nice and strong and shifts smooth, its lighter than a TKO, fits with the stock crossmember and driveshaft. and handles my 500ft lbs of torque easy.
i cleaned up the valve covers first with a blaster, then took some old fashion masking tap on the fins and painted the rest of them ford engine blue, turned out pretty nice i think.
