| I had to dimple my off-road H-pipe (I think it's BBK, but I'm not sure) to make it fit around the rear K-member mounts...
And that's with stock manifolds.

| The reason i had to cut the flange is that my shift linkage was getting stuck and i couldnt get into drive. But that wil all be remedied when i put the bucket seats and floor shifter in | |

| i know the early 80's Mustangs had a floor shifter without a console, they had a trim piece that went around th shifter,i 'll check to see if i have one, if i do, its yours for the shipping, dont hold your breath as i have been scrapping/selling/giving stuff away. i think i may have a shifter for a c-4 and maybe an AOD, but i am thinking the AOD was in a console. you know the drill, as soon as you thro something away, you need it. anyway i seem to remember a post by FOX81 from Tucson who put a console in his car from an early 80's mustang, check some of the old postings. i actually saw his car and it looked like it came with the car, great fit.
you know i think the 85 LTD Crown Vic steering collumn with tilt would fit your car also.
just about any seat from an 80 model up to 2004 will fit your fairmont, and ive seen 05 & up in some other fox bodies as well.
that sure is a nice ride you have there.

| sorry cant find a stand-alone floor shifter, all i have is a AOD style with different shifter plates. it would look like crap with out a console, try the bone yards or e-bay.
i like the 94-04 seats most have power , some even have lumbar. real easy to wire up also.

| The problem in this little hick town is that we have 2 auto wreckers. Not much of a choice and if we want anything its an hour drive to the boat then an hour and a half boat ride to the mainland for good parts. And for a 2 way trip on the boat its $160.I havnt seen another Zor F in this town | |

| WOW, thats a lotta wedge for driving a car on and off a boat. sounds like you need a trailer or van. you got to make that trip pays for itself.
thats the price you pay for exclusivity, i had to pay tax on my outside water taps, it really pissed me off to pay dog tax when my dog didn't get AM ot FM.
have you tried E-Bay, or will the shipping be rediculous?
