| Has anyone installed a "shaft radio" in a F/Z dash that has been cutout for a "din type radio"? If so, what did you do to make it stay in place? Did you build any special mount or holder? I have some ideas, just want to know what others have done. | |

| Hey Red 78 you might check "metraonline.com" for a ford alot of the kits come with a shaft radio face plate. Some kits are carried in auto parts stores. But if you check their site the selection is bigger. Hope that helps.

| Since I really did not get and advice on how to install a shaft radio into a cut out dash, and the start of car show season next month, I set out and did it myself. I could not find anything on Metro that would work. The mostly complete instructions, and template for the dash opening are here on my website. http://myzephyrs.com/din_to_shaft.htm | |
