ITS ALL HERE !!!!!

Yes I am so happy !! I just got my Perform RPM heads, Comp Cam roller tip rockers and push tubes, MSD distributor and coil, BBK Ceramic Shorty Headers, and couple small items for the carb.
Now I can get started on tearing down the 351w crate engine and bolt on all the Go Fast goodies....then drop the bitch in the car ....hear it run......rip up some pavement and show off the car at some shows !!!
Cant wait !!

Quality stuff indeed! Looks like a lot of things that need to be shined on a regular basis....definately not my cup of tea...lol! I think we all want to hear it run....shoot some video when the "magic" happens.

Thanks guys, hoping this weekend I will have some of the engine back together, I took the heads of the crate engine and found them to be E7's. So I now have 2 very fresh sets of E7's for sale !!

Tonight I got the engine block painted. Hoping Sunday I will have the cam, heads, and intake on maybe even the headers too. The oil pan is on back order so that will delay my progress a bit.

Thanks for the pics! I was just curious becuase the guy I got my heads from said they were comparable to those heads.

Your engine should make some serious mamba jamba with those parts bolted up. I hope you will post a vid of it.


What color did you paint the engine???

I think he went with old Ford blue. At least that's what I told him to paint it!

So this weekend I had some progress. Here you go and in Old Ford Blue !!

That looks like new Ford blue to me.

Probably the first time you've seen that color not covered in oil and grease lol

Yeah, I went back and looked at my pictures.
I have one of each color.
I remember now thinking I was cheated on the old blue because it was so light.
The paint got darker as the engine got heated from use.
Before installing, they looked pretty much the same color.

I can't wait to hear what your creation sounds like!

Thanks, yes the Old and New Ford blues are very close to the same color. But I like the Old much better.....just looks great with all the bling ! I also cant wait to hear my beast come alive ........I have had that crate engine for almost as long as I have owned the car . I bought the car this month 2002. I took it apart and started working on it in 2004. My, time has gone by......

Thanks guys, I've been driving it around so it looks like heck right now.
And the paint flaked off the oil pan. And I put the dirty old blue valve cover back on because I didn't want to get the chrome one all beat up while I'm still dialing in the engine.

The head is pocket ported with over size valves, dual springs. 264/274/112 cam.
I'd like to get a 2bbl carb on it soon.

Very close to putting this engine in the Futura !! I also pulled the car out of storage tonight. So I took some better pictures of the new wheels I bought last fall. Oh here is the pretty engine nearly ready to go in !!
