| I KNOW! It looks cool and has a great stance. Also, all cleaned up with no excess trim. Someone out on the left coast could have a really nice platform to start with.
I'm still trying to sell my SVT Contour so I can pick up a wagon!

| i'm glad you decided to go with the 79 fox81, i am planning on getting the $400 one. i saw it a few days ago, but didnt think much of it. it was a slow day friday so i decided i might as well go take a look. good thing i did! the drivers side fender and front bumper are pretty messed up, same with the grill and headlight trim, but i plan on just swapping that off my 4 dr. the a/c really is ice cold, and seems to run pretty good. There isnt a headliner (no problem, i reupholstered my own, so i can do it again) and most the trim in the back seat needs replacing, but thats not impossible to do. I love how gently the doors close, just a quiet click when closing. It smokes a bit when idling, and he says it leaks tranny fluid. Not sure if its stock, but has nice small bucket seats, with floor shifter. notice he already labeled it the unFairmont. all in all, i like it. | |

| I like the color of the 83! I was wondering on how bad it would be for the $400 bucks but it looks pretty good! Unlike this 79, which needs some serious TLC (which I can do). But hey, I need to redeem my self with the Fox god for not saving that boxtop So I might give the guy a call and see what time it would be good to take it for a spin to see how well it runs and drives. I'll give them my "best offer" and see how it goes. | |

Well...me brining this Futura home will ultimately hinges on what the "transaxle cooling" warning light means on my Focus. I just hope it not the f**king tansmission, I'll have to see what the dealer says about it when I take it in next week. Always my luck......
