Well, I should have a 351 in a week or so and I was hopeing(I gotta see what it looks like inside first) to put all new bearings and rings in, a performer RPM(or similar) cam, along with a set of good aftermarket Iron heads and probably a Victor JR intake. I will be getting all ARP bolts, and stud kits, Aftermarket rockers(I was thinking Comp camps Pro Magnums) and Long tube headers. As far as suspension goes, its getting a narrowed 8.8 with south side bars and adjustable uppers, Lakewood 50/50's in the rear and 90/10's in the front, with 10.5" slicks. The car itself is getting at least an 8 point cage and through the floor sub frame connectors. I hope to put bore and stroke it out to 408 new winter or sooner if possible. I just want to get drag racing once the track opens Keep in mind I am a broke ass 19 yr old lol so aluminum heads, and fancy stuff is going to have to wait, so if I am not quite there I plan to spray it a bit. | |

| Fresh rebuild , bone stock 69' 302 with d0oe heads, Performer intake, 600 Holley, stock cam and borrowed 235 60 15 drag radials. Best of 13.72 in the 1/4 , always wanted to spray it with 100 shot but never did. This was in high school , trying to build the one I always wanted now. 80' Futura, stock 7.5, C- 3 trans with v 8 bell housing, "did not last long" paid someone $100 to make engine plates and frame mounts to mount the 302 on the I6 k member. | |
