After almost after a year I got the Futura back up and running today.
I ripped out the MSD shit distributor, coil, and spark box. I dropped in the a Pertronix distributor and coil. Way nicer set up, way more simple and reliable wire hook up and even better quallity made parts.
Fired right up with out hardly a studder.

Thanks Brad, but I dont think it will be ready for the big cruise this Sat. , but there is a big chance for rain that day any how. So at the moment I plan to take the Mustang, that is if they don't cancel it again.

Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me too much. They have another cruise in June or something I'm not sure when, so they probably won't postpone this one again, they'd just cancel.

Yeah, I went out to my Zeph today and found that it was leaking brake fluid in a bunch of spots. I'm hoping it was mostly just connections that needed a bit more tightening. I always have trouble with that installing new brass washer gasket thingies, as well as tightening the nut fittings. I don't want to tighten it too much, so it takes me a few tries to get right. But ALSO, I have a leaking piston seal on one of my front calipers, so apparently those will need rebuilding before it's road worthy. I was already grumpy today. I didn't need that, finding drip marks at 3 of the 4 calipers. <sigh>

I bet, I know the feeling. I was hoping to spend a lot of time on my car last weekend, but her car craped out again with the Alternator. Which didnt fix the hard starting issue.... But I feel good about getting mine running, I did move it down to the other garage tonight so I can really work on it.
