You can tell right away it's not real.

A few days ago, I asked the seller if he had any pics of the bed, and the tailgate open. He gave me a cock and bull story that his didn't open, only the early ones did, but it was illegal since the lights folded down out of sight so they made the later gates stationary. Ya, shoor. I then told him, very nicely, that his was not a real Durango, but a cut down Futura coupe. Nice job, but not the real deal.

He got real mean and nasty with me, which, of course, made me politely mess with him a few more times, leading to him sending me his phone number and telling me that he was ready to fly to me "right now", ostensibly to kick my ass. I told him that threatening another user through the ebay system was something that they took seriously, and if he did it again, the next email he would be getting would be from them, and I haven't heard anything from him since.

And now that car is up to 19K. This makes me think that several others contacted him, he was a tool to them as well, and now someone is messing with him.

This car is definitely not a Durango, there are to many custom features on the body mainly the tail gate the rear window, front of hood, and dont think you could put the wheel and tire size it say are on car, I do own what I belive to be a real Durango, have owned it many years and the person, I purchased it from was very knowledgeable on Durangos being from southern Ca. where the Fairmonts were converted to Durangos

I ran into this guy at another web site.....he seemed tobe a good guy. I can't say if he really is but I he was cool with me. Kinda like his car.....looks cool and still would be fun to own even if its or is not a Durango.
It is spendy ...but so is everything these days. Like I have said before....ANY car is only worth what some one is willing to pay for it. Even Stang's, Cammaro's, Vet's, Cobra"s, any car !!
