| Bullitts in front and 4-lug in rear, but that will change this weekend if all goes well. My EFI 5.0L. Looks a little ratty for now, but has been extremely reliable. Mustang dash and seats. Mustang style door panels and power options coming. | |

| Nice Zephyr! The silver is perfect with the black out pillars and the Bullitts, post a few new pics with all four. Clean EFI swap, I bet it's fun to drive.

| It's not fun to drive yet. I haven't sorted out the suspension. The body still rolls like crazy in the rear. haha.
Yeah, a race car it is not. And maybe i'll actually be able to finally drive it daily this summer.
The dash is out of a '90. It takes some modification to do, but nothing too major.

| Looks AWESOME! I like the silver/black combo.
Can you post some of the mods needed for the dash swap? Not a full-on swap story, maybe just some of the bigger itssues you had to del with?

| Sure! As you could guess, the dashes are physically the same size. The bottom mounts are the same too. The main difference is the top mounts. They are straight horizontal for the '78-86 style and angled for the '87-93 style. You'll need to bend some mounts down at an angle and others out of the way. And you'll need to drill a few new holes for the screws. As far as i can recall (it's been a while), that's pretty much it. i think the heater core and everything is the same. Wiring was easy for me because, since i used the EFI, i just swapped over the entire Mustang wire harness and spliced in the lights.
5-lug update: the rear is in, but the springs are not, so i couldn't put it on the wheels yet.

All I have is this: but you can see the top mount tab thingies below the windshield. Those are what you need to bend.

| Holy crap! The swap you did is on my list of future upgrades so I'll have to keep this thread, and your name, at hand!!!
Thanks for posting and again, sweet ride!
