My buddys Z7

This is a car i'm fixing up for a buddy. We picked it up off of Zephyr Mike last spring and other then fixing the rear wheel wells we have only just started fixing it.



Pretty much how it looked when he bought it, except we ground most of the rust down so we could see how it was.

The rot... Every wheel well was this bad.

The new wheel wells, from another Fairmonts front fenders.


Other side getting body work done, we also welded in wheel wells from some front fenders on this side too


Other side all primed


With new fenders and rims, and no engine! We need to do more body work on this side lol



Anyways the big question is, how do yall think it looks with vinyl on the back?

Awesome body work....I didn't know these cars had the same size flares front and rear.

Personally I don't care for vinyl but hey, it's your (his) car so go for whatever! I saw a coupe with the vinyl areas painted in a mildly textured satin black and it looked sweet (rest of car was the new grabber orange from the Mistang line).

Great bodywork as well. Looking forward to the completred project.
