    sn95 booster rods Empty
    PostSubject: sn95 booster rods   sn95 booster rods Icon_minitimeSun Jan 20, 2013 11:05 am

i pulled a dash out of a 96 mustang v6 a couple of weeks ago and went back to drill-out the spot welds for the steering shaft bearing plate and i noticed that the booster rod from the booster to the brake pedal was straight, not curved. as most of you already know the 93 Gt and Cobra bosters will direct fit into the Fairmont with no drilling. ( the sn95 booster requires re- drilling of the mounting holes in the firewall & brake pedal housing to fit). has anyone seen a straight rod on these sn95 boosters before? maybe its because its an early sn95????

the boosters also mount different , the fairmonts & mustangs have a plasic plate that fits between the firewall & pedal mount, however the sn95pedal assembly has the mounts/spacers built into the assembly.
