I'm listing this for John (fangar150-ex). He would like to get $3,000 for the car and parts and just $2500 for the car alone. If interested give him a call at: (520)-two four nine-637 five.

I've seen this car is person a couple times and its one heck of a machine and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It also has some get up and go. Plus John is a stand up guy so don't hesitate to deal with him.

1980 Ford Fairmont Futura with a ton of upgrades. It has a 5.0 out a Mark VII that had 74K on it. The transmission is an automatic C4 with floor shift. The rear end is a 7.5 w/2.26. SVO steering rack with a 2000 Mustang front end, brakes, ball joints the whole deal. Ford Racing 5 lug rear conversion kit. 2005 Mustang V6 "spinner" wheels w/Michelin p225/50/16 tires. 1993 Mustang fuel tank with V8 pump. 93 GT brake booster and 95 Cobra master cylinder. 3G alternator from a Windstar. The interior is from a 93 Mustang 4cy. convertible. Seats, console, dash, carpet and wiper assembly also had the A/C from a 93 Mustang. 4 new Sylvania head lights.

Here are the parts he would like to go with the car:

    8.8 posi w/3.27 from a 90 must (has drum brake set-up)
Selection of cruise control modules for later model electronic cruise control vehicles
    MAC Performance caster Camber kit
Very low mileage P235/65 16 BFG Traction T/A tires (2k or Less)
Air flow meter for mass air
    r/s window regulator
Various rear disc brake parts from 2000 mustang
    L/S mirror- used
98 mustang seats (grey) driver motor inop, has a small tear
Chrome powder coated alternator bracket for 3g alternator upgrade
A couple of garbage cans and few cat litter cans full of fox ford misc parts
8.8 limited slip carrier from a 2000 must
    Radiator from 1990 5.0 V-8
    Bunch of ford radios
    Locking wheel nuts
    2000 Mustang v-6 Brake Booster
Upper & lower intake manifolds for fuel injection
    Fuel rails for injectors
    5.8 liter injectors

    Some pictures:

i'm selling it because my wife has 3A lung cancer, the car means little to me at this time, i need to get rid of it for obvious reasons. i very rarely drive it as my personal time is limited.

nice to see you back eignub, how's the baby, hope maiya? is doing fine as well.

Yes you can put a mustang dash in your Fairmont, it will fit.
There are different types thru the years. There is the 93 with airbag on the strg whl, there is the convertible, the gt and the 4cyl. The cluster wiring is different for the 93’s and the convertibles.
I only like the later fox body dashes, so I have no experience with the earlier ones, and the earlier ones look similar to the Fairmont’s, so why bother.
Do you have a v8, straight 6 or 4 banger? Some of the tachometers for the earlier models are adjustable for the 4/6/&8 engines
Are you going to use your existing wiring or go for gold and change the loom? You may think this is a weird question, but there are reasons either way there are going to be wiring issues. All issues can be overcome.
Do you have 2 or 4 headlamps?
Is your Fairmont a box top or a 2dr sport coupe?
If you install a/c, make sure you use the evaporator that uses the orifice tube and not the expansion valve as the expansion valves are too hard to find.
Do you have a floor shifter and console operated parking brake?, if not you will have.
You will have to change the tank or modify the fuel sender as the resistance for the mustang dash is different for the Fairmont sender.
Are you adding fuel injection or keeping the original boat anchor? if you are going to keep the original anchor, you will have to add a resistor wire fore the dura-spark ignition coil, you can take the resistor wire out of your fairmont dash, i think it is a red with a green wire i may be wrong, but it is connected to the ignition switch and goes to the coil.
If you are going to down the car to put a new dash in it, now is the time to make other upgrades, like 5 lug wheels, brakes, suspension etc.
I have some photos from when I did mine; in fact I still have the car. I tried to sell it, but I would not budge on the price.
It’s a fair amount of work, but it’s worth it.
    good luck and have fun!!
