| Subject: Should I change to mustang pedal assembly? Mon Oct 25, 2010 7:44 pm | |
| Just a thought I changed my master cylinder to a SVO unit the brake power booster to a 93 cobra unit. Well when i was Looking at a pedal assembly for a clutch car, the brake pedal pivot point appears to be different then the fairmont brake pedal. I would need to actually take a measurement, to be sure. But it seems the mustang pedal has larger ratio which should mean less effort. Well I guess I'll Give it a try tomorrow to see | |

| You already have power brakes, so do you really need less effort? The effort needs to be within a certain range to be well modulatable, remember.

| Yes your were right turns out when I pulled out the tape they are the same the only difference is it the manual trans pedal with the smaller foot pedal. So it will come into play when swap in the 6 speed. Thanks for your take on it. | |
