I picked one up at the junkyard yesterday.
I have a '78 and I think the column was from an '82.
Can someone tell me if this is a direct swap, or are there some wiring issues to sort out?
I didn't take any of the harness connectors, and I'm thinking that perhaps I should go back and get them. It had the steering wheel cruise, but the wheel itself was toast. My old one has the standard 2-spoke.

With the exception of the wires for the cruise, there shouldn't be any difference.

This was an '81 Squire wagon, I'm sure it was an option. We pulled the dash console the other day.
I went back and got a bunch of stuff, including the 4-eyed headlights.
My buddy pulled power windows, locks and rear washer/wiper.

My Z7 has tilt, so did my 82 Futura, and I believe my 78 Zeph boxtop parts car I used to have had tilt as well
