lets break this down to all motor or naturally aspirated cars ok. Since i know good and well that someone you crazy turbo cars will wipe the floor with my windsor.


also if you post your ET times please specify if it is 1/8 mile or 1/4 and what engine combo you have.

if i'm doing the 1/4 mile i generally need a sleeping bag and lanterns, if i do the 1/8, i just bring a small bbq pit, but it stops great. is there a competition and prize for good brakes & and an ugly paint job?

i found my way,I havent gotten on the boys club board much lately.too many children with keyboards and e-thug personality.

My boxtop pulls 1.09 lateral. I've had it to 141, and it developed a vibration and stopped pulling. It's pretty disappointing at the strip.

so you got it set up for road racing??? sweet i would like to see that.

It's more of an autocross car right now. With the stock brakes, I don't think it would do too well on a road course.

On the bright side, I did win an autocross championship (c-prepared class) with it in 2006. Just a regional one, but I did put the smokes to a pretty bitchin' '71 Camaro and a 347 cube Mustang. Then it broke the subframe between the strut tower and the core support. Tore out all of the spot welds, and tore the frame around the passenger side swaybar mount. Not good.

But I digress...I am always amazed when I read about Fairmonts kicking butt on road courses and I think I will slowly move to a setup like this. There's a road course near where I live and I like the idea of doing that kind of racing as opposed to 1/4 mile.

Yeah...everyone who sees pics thinks that the paint is intentional. Truth is, that's what happens when you get a paint job, and the douchebag who paints it thinks that hardner is optional in the enamel. I've rubbed it out several times, but it ends up looking like that again after about a month, so I just gave up. It's supposed to be blue, but it ends up having kind of a purpleish tint, and if you lean on it, whatever you touched it with is blue.

But, that's all part of what makes it cool. People who don't know better think that it's super slow, and all of the people who do know better are part of the inside joke.

Didn't time my run on the road track (just for fun)


Best time is 14.7 @ 94?mph... Stock 89 engine, 8.8 with 3.73's and street tires. 60ft was 2.3

i think the dr needs to order some slicks.

My best was a 15.7.... Stupid 2.73's lol I did manage to break the rear though

okay were gonna talk times.in the 1/8th,the best has been 7.37 on the jug.that equates to an 11.40 in the 1/4.

I hope to run 11's next year, thats my goal, but I'll be happy with 12's or even 13's LOL
