| This may sound like a dumb question but I just gotta know. fangar150-ex has some brakes that is selling and I need brakes, but I need a definete answer on if they will fit or not. He said they came off of an 88GT, he has the calipers and rotors and the other odds and ends. Sure he'll chime in. But will they be a direct bolt on for my Zephyr? | |

| If he's selling the spindles also, then they should fly right on there. I know that a later caliper won't fit our spindles. You'll need to make sure that you use '87+ ten holes if you're gonna use ten holes. The earlier ones won't clear the calipers.
Hope this helps.

| Wait a minute....The previous only applies to 79 and 80 as far as I have direct knowledge.
You could always find out by checking part numbers for different year mustang stuff, and see where the cutoffs are. I once tried to use a caliper from a slightly later car so that I could use Performance Friction brakes, which they don't make for ours. The caliper was actually smaller than mine.

| Also may have to use the Mustang ball joints. I now my '98 spindles did not fit correctly with the '83 Fairmont stock ball joints. | |
