| Its been pretty dead here lately, so I figured I'd start a new thread Whats your favorite picture of your F/Z?? I went on a nice drive on Sunday, so I could take a few pics of the wagon, I suck at taking nice pictures but I think there two came out alright... My two favorites of my 4 door. ^ Its hard to tell, but I am ahead of the Porch. Anyways, post some up, even if its just of your F/Z in the garage, on jackstands. | |

Don The tires are 11 1/2" measured on the tread surface...the section width is a little wider. They're about a 1/4" too wide to the inside. I have since gone to a smaller tire. A little heat and a sledge hammer and they would have fit...no problem. I had a 9" rear out of a mid 70's granada...yes they had them, but rare. I buit a jig around my mustang 8.8 housing, fabbed my own control arm brackets, and there you have it. If I remember correctly, this 9" rear is almost 3" narrower that the 8.8. Playing around with rim offset and a little clearancing, 11" wide tires are no problem with this setup. I did roll my qtr lips too. Here's my jig that I fabbed up Here's the rear installed I actually built and rebuilt this jig several times until I was saticefied. It did pay off, everything lined up perfectly with no binding.

This happens to be the only picture that I took of this swap. I did it while test fitting the rear. Next time I'll make sure the tires are off, the car is up higher, and there is better lighting.
