| So, I happened to be channel surfing the other day, and I happened upon a showing of " The Fly" The two lead characters were climbing out of a taxi and to my surprise it was a Fairmont! So I'm wondering if any of you guys have seen F/Z's in any other tv shows or movies? | |

| Well the only one that come to mind was in a movie. It was the "Electric Horseman" with Robert Redford. The character that Jane Fonda plays drives a 78 or 79 Futura towards the end of the movie, she ends up ditching it in desert. | |

| The 3-wheeler in Stroker Ace was the most memorable, most other times you saw a Fairmont in the movies, it was a background car or an "innocent bystander" car that got wrecked in a chase scene or when someone came around a corner too fast and wiped out a parked car or three. In TV, they were just regular cars driven around by regular people, nothing exciting stands out because they were never fast enough to be good chase scene material.

| I have noticed many F/Zs in Movies and TV that I have not included on the screenshots page of my website. "No Country For Old Men" has a Zephyr pictured prominently during a major scene, but i was blown up. "Iron Eagle" has shots of Air Force Fairmonts in it as well as "Wargames". I did find a couple of videos on youtube a long time ago about the 1989 bay bridge collapse during the Oakland Earthquake.
