I finally found an SN95 V6 Mustang at a junkyard today and got the nuts out of it for mounting the booster to ther firewall. THEY WERE FREAKIN' WRONG. I thought for sure my booster and master cylinder were out of an SN95 V6 car, but maybe they are not. I've had them for a while and am not totally sure what they are. I remember someone on here (TealP51) had the same problem. What did you end up doing? I guess it's possible it is out of a Fox or SN95 Cobra. I don't know. That Mustang i found is the only one in the 3 decent junkyards around here. So what the hell do i do now?!

if the nuts you got from the boneyard were incorrect, take the booster assembly to ace hardware , napa, checkers etc, they can measure the thread pitch and hopefully match up some nuts.

yep, that's what i did. For some reason i had the idea in my head it couldn't possibly be that simple. And most hardware stores i go to these days are places like Home Depot where the nuts and bolts are in sealed packages. That would not have helped me. Anyway, the booster and m/c are in. just have to wrestle that pedal bracket back in there now and plumb the lines.

Would have been a good idea too, to try the other m/c and booster, but it's in East Bethel and the car is in Shakopee. Not exactly convenient. Smile
