PostSubject: My 4 door and my Wagon   Thu Nov 13, 2008 11:11 pm

My 4 door waiting for a new rear end, paint and motor Cool It has a 302 currently and an AOD. I picked up the fiberglass fenders(for a Zephyr but oh well) this summer and need to paint them next spring once its warm, i'll be shaving all of the trim too.

My 4 doors engine, its out of a 86 crown vic and just has a Weiand Action Plus intake and headers. It will be getting a cam and some 70 351 heads and going in my wagon.

My wagon, its got steelies on it now but looks the same lol. Its getting paint soon.

10 hole are deffentally where its at, but i'll be getting some centerlines or convo pros for next year Very Happy

BTW the wagon is an 81 and the 4 door is a 79. The 4 door is being converted to full drag for next year.

Thats what the 4 door looked like clean, and with its steel fenders.

I'll have to post some pics of my buddys 80 Zephyr Z7 we are putting a 5.0 in and restoring.

keep the pictures coming. my futura isnt full drag, more of a prostreet car that can get 20mpg. i believe its the fastest N/A small block fairmont in the usa, and its a stickshift too instead of a racy automatic c4

Yea, those ten holes give instant street cred! That is still a sleeper though - I like the four-door sedans more and more. You can tell the car was designed as a 4-door first, and the wagan has great proportions as well.

I cant afford to drive the two of them so thats why the 4 door will be full drag, it will be street legal, and able to drive on the street but i cant daily drive it. I am 19 and do not make a whole lot so i'll live with the wagon for now.

Still, saying that the wagons getting the TFS stage 2 cam and a set of 69 351W heads that should have a small port and polish job on them. Should be fun Very Happy

sounds like you have a plan.
i am partial to wagons though, especially fast ones. my friend john has prolly the fastest wagon in the country, but his has an LS1/powerglide in it.

I figured I'd throw up a few update pics.... although they dont show much.

The cars more stripped then this but I had to see what it would look like with the slicks skinnies on it lol I have also welded in all the trim holes on this side.

I plan to get matching convo pro once the cars working, but for now I'll rock the aluminum spares.

Metal for the SFC's. 2x3".

I have been kinda slacking and havent got them in yet... but soon i will lol. Then I need to get the cage, and get my rear end narrowed, then I need Axles, a spool, and gears lol. Then the thing will roll again! lol

I have also picked up a C4 and a 2800 stall TSC torque converter, but mostly I have been paying off my parents and my tickets. Only one more pay and I should be payed off, but well see. Hopefully then I will be buying the rest of the shit i need. Cool
