Hi, I need a set of door locks and one trunk lock with the same key to unlock all of them. I would settle for just the two door locks with the same key, but perfer all 3. This is for a 1978 fairmont. Does anyone know if there is another vehicle and year that will interchange? Thanks, Popcop

does your trunk lock work?? if so try the ford dealer, you can build the lock cylinders to fit the key. you may also want to get some lock rod clips. the locks are easy to build, you can do them yourself.

I think the only cars that had a one-key lock system were the police cars, everything else had the round trunk and square door/ign key. At least that's the way it is on the SSP Mustangs, perhaps a lock set from one of those can be made to fit.
