| So, Stymees'mont and I were chatting and decided we need to have an f/z gathering. He has offered his place to host such an event as he has 5 acres. This would of course depend on everyone interested in attending to let us know where they are and if it would be convenient to have a meet in Minnesota. If we could plan such a thing it would be one for the record books if we could get a big bunch of f/z's to show up. Show em all the first foxbody that started it all and remind em that some of us haven't forgotten these great cars. So who's in? | |

| We were thinking maybe summer 2010. That would give us plenty of time to get it all properly organized and give ppl who don't have their cars ready lots of time to do so. We's do some fun stuff like the ever popular burnout contest, maybe some of the local hotties for a bikini contest and Stymee says there are some really good local bands there as well. If anyone has ideas to contribute, lets hear em. There won't really be any prizes for the inaugural year, but if we get a big enough turnout the first time out, we thought it'd be cool to include some of the other "forgotten" fox-bodies like the cougars, granadas, LTDII's and the like. We also thought it would be cool if we got enough cars out, we could maybe convince HUB Garage to maybe send a crew out to do a spot for HUB TV. Let the world know there's more to Ford performance than just Mustangs. The more support the better. | |

That would be pretty awesome. I think little prizes for crap like best paint job, fastest car, shittiest paint job, ugliest wheels lol would be pretty fun. I think letting the other forgotten foxes come would be a good idea too, the granada guys are probably more lonely then us LOL If there are any... I was thinking maybe MM&FF would put a few pics in the rag or something??? Who knows, but it wouldnt hurt to ask. Futurama: That sounds killer man, now I need to get workin on the car... lol | |

| Garvin Piper has been having a show that he calls "Forgotten Fords" in Blairsville, PA (about 40 mi East of Pittsburgh) for the last few years. He's has some Fairmonts (and he was on the old board, but I haven't seen him here yet), but he invites all comers, especially those with "unpopular" Fords. I haven't heard of when he is planning it for this summer.
Later, Mike. | |

| Cool, sounding like several people want this. We posted this in two other web sites and over all it looks huge ! Many don't like the location...well we want to have it central for everyone even for you in Canada with or with out a F/Z ...even other Fox chassis cars would be cool. Think Summer of 2010 here in Southern Minn. would be a great place to start.....if it takes off it can be hosted in a new location each year. I have room for many cars but if it turns out tobe huge we can use the Fairgrounds. This is the early stages of planing and need to know if this is even worth taking time to plan. Would like to keep it cheap and yet have some fun for all. May take a few years to build up...but its up to all of us on how well it will be. If the first year...Summer 2010...means 20 F/Z's lined up in my yard with a bonefire and Barbeque with a evening cruise....that would be very cool success! | |
